Bot Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the VoidedNetwork Discord Bot ("Voided Bot", "the Bot", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores and processes information when you interact with the Bot or use VoidedNetwork services connected to it.

1. Information We May Process

Depending on the features you use, the Bot may process or store:

• Discord user IDs, usernames and display names.
• Discord server, channel and role IDs.
• Minecraft usernames and UUIDs.
• Links between Discord accounts and Minecraft accounts.
• Bot command usage.
• XP, levels and leaderboard information.
• Counting-channel progress and statistics.
• QOTD participation and related feature information.
• Moderation warnings, actions and associated metadata.
• Ticket information including creators, participants and timestamps.
• Message content where required to provide an enabled Bot feature.

The Bot does not require or intentionally collect your Discord password, Minecraft/Microsoft password, payment-card information or Discord authentication credentials.

2. How Information Is Used

Information is processed where reasonably necessary to operate VoidedNetwork features, including:

• Discord and Minecraft account linking.
• Minecraft server integration.
• Moderation and community safety.
• Support tickets.
• XP, levels and leaderboards.
• Counting, QOTD and minigames.
• Discord and Minecraft chat integration.
• Server administration.
• Security and abuse prevention.

3. Message Content

Where an appropriate feature is enabled, the Bot may process Discord message content for functionality such as leveling, counting, moderation, QOTD, tickets and Minecraft chat bridging.

Messages are not collected for the purpose of selling personal information or targeted advertising.

4. Minecraft Account Linking

Linking your Discord account with a Minecraft account is optional unless a particular VoidedNetwork service requires account verification.

When linked, your Minecraft username and Discord identity may be displayed together through Bot functionality such as player lookup.

Users may unlink their accounts using available VoidedNetwork functionality.

5. Storage and Retention

Information required for persistent features may be stored by infrastructure used to operate VoidedNetwork.

We aim to retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the feature, moderation, security or operational purpose for which it was collected.

Certain information, such as moderation records, may be retained for longer where reasonably necessary to maintain enforcement history, community safety or prevent abuse.

6. Sharing of Information

VoidedNetwork does not sell personal information.

Information may be processed by infrastructure providers used to operate the Bot, Minecraft servers and related VoidedNetwork services.

Information may also be disclosed where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, investigate abuse, protect users or protect VoidedNetwork and its services.

7. Data Deletion and Correction

You may request deletion or correction of eligible information associated with you.

Requests can be made through the official VoidedNetwork Discord support/ticket system.

Certain information may need to be retained where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal obligations or legitimate moderation records.

8. Security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect information handled by the Bot. However, no internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Third-Party Services

The Bot interacts with Discord and may interact with Minecraft and other third-party services. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as VoidedNetwork and the Bot gain, remove or change features. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page identifies the latest revision.
